Irving Plaza
The second album was out, with “Dial a Hitman” featuring Matt Dillon. During the show there were a bunch of videos playing including one with the sequence with Matt Dillon for that song.

N2 of two shows for me. I was a fan of the Clash and just loved BAD from the time their first album came out - as did many friends who were tuned into new music during the late 1980s. Their first couple of albums were popular at the time and you knew you were fortunate to see Mick Jones and BAD any time you could.
The original configuration of Jazz is Dead, with the all-star cast of Cobham, Herring, Johnson and Lavitz. I really like Jimmy Herring especially, and probably enjoyed his live guitar work with former members of the Grateful Dead (and as guest with DMB) as much as anyone else that’s stepped into that slot.
